Black High Heel Ladies Shoes
Source
A tad dominatrix for my taste but still absolutely gorgeous, but then again I have a thing for black lace.
I
need to start looking into heels for Fall. Mine hopefully won’t
involve a corset. Or eight inches. I like standing upright…

Yellow Mini Skirt # Black Bag
Source
Classic with a pop of color! You may have considered getting rid of
that boring navy & white striped top, but don’t do it just yet! This
is a shirt that makes a comeback each & every year. This year, it’s
being heavily rocked with floral prints & bright colors. This is a
fabulous combination. It takes it up a notch on the “trend scale,” while
still keeping things sharp.

Adorable Black Leather Jacket
I love black leather. Not in a weird S&M way, but in a
I-wish-I-am-Kate-Moss kind of way. A black leather jacket conveys a
sense of confidence and sex appeal. It’s borrowed from the boys and
badass. A black leather jacket evokes the feeling of rock and roll and
passion and rebellion. Who would Sid Vicious or Kim Gordon be without
there tried and true jacket? *Ed. Note: they’d probably be equally as
awesome, though not as tough looking. Still internally tough though.
Sunday Style
Source
This outfit sums up my usual Sunday attire, which always seems to involve a simple v-neck and my favorite pair of distressed jeans. I opted for my bright new red heels for a pop of color to spruce up this look but always carry a pair of flats with me just in case, especially when I am out and about all day. I added an equally bright red lip and my favorite go-to bag to create an easy day-to-night look. What’s your Sunday style?

Black Hat# Black Small Bag# Off White Sweater
A small
break from our Italian posts to show you a look I wore two weeks ago,
just before my book signing in Barcelona, to go a meeting to organize a
new and exciting project (I will tell you more details in the next few
weeks). I was wearing a beige sweater with leather sleeves and a lace
skirt. I felt really comfy with my Lovely Pepa x Krack booties, which
are available again. During my stay in the city I was at the Eurostars Gran Marina hotel,
and as you can see the rooms and the views couldn´t be better. If
you´re thinking on visit the Barcelona, I suggest you this hotel so
much. You can find them in grey too.
Scarf # Sweater # Bag # Long boots
waiting for
your next flight at the airport sometimes could be a little bit
dangerous, last sunday I had one hour free until my last flight to go
back home and I decided to spent it at Zara where I bought a couple of
things, one of them this pair of boots, it was love at first sight, and I
could´t imagine a better outfit to wear them for the first time, so I
combined them with this lace skirt that I´ve already show you several
times on the blog, a cozy knit and my baby Speedy. what do you think?
when the photoshoot was over we spent one hour at the park with our baby
Pepa! thank you so much for your comments!!
The Dutch Braid Crown Hair Style
Source
- Start with a little wave in your hair. We used this wand to get perfect waves (bonus… that wand is wayyyy less expensive than most and we love it!) If you already have natural wave, you’re good to go. (Curly girls can do this as well! Just skip by #2)
- This is about the amount of wave you should have. Not too perfect, just quick, subtle waves.
- Pull half of your hair back where you imagine the braid going and then gently pull some of your fringe/bang area out to soften the look. Better to pull those pieces out now than once you’ve already braided them in!
- Start the dutch braid from the part and going down toward your ear. Don’t worry about scalp showing. We’ll take care of that in step 8.
- Once you get just above the ear, start doing a regular 3 strand braid.
- Make sure you braid it far enough so it will reach the back/middle of your head. For this look, I wanted the hair to go under the occipital bone which is that little bone on the back of your head. Right below it there’s a curve and that’s where you’re going to want to secure this braid, so make sure it reaches there.
- Now tie it off using a small clear elastic.
- Fatten up the braid by gently pulling it apart. Bulking up the braid will hide any unwanted scalp showing up front.
- Do exactly the same thing on the other side.
- Pull the braids together to meet in the back. Weave one of the braids through the other one.
- Pin it below the occipital bone using a couple of bobby pins.
The Fun Bun Hair Style
Step 1: If your hair is straight, use a 1″ curling iron to curl
everything under. This will make it easier to tuck pieces into the bun.
When they’re straight, they tend to pop out more. If you have wave or
curl you can skip this step if you want to.
Step 2: Flip your hair over and gather everything into a ponytail on
top of you head, securing it with an elastic ponytail holder.
Step 3: On the last time around with the ponytail holder, only pull the ponytail through half way.
Step 4: Take the loop you’ve created and spread it out. Don’t over think it. Just widen it and allow it to be somewhat messy.
Step 5: Take the tail end and wrap it around the ponytail base.
Step 6: Pin the end of the ponytail to the base using a couple of hair pins/bobby pins.
Step 7: Gently pull on pieces and then pin them. This will give your top-knot a slightly more messy texture.
Step 8: Spray a veil of medium hold hairspray all over. Don’t smooth
down all of the fly aways, just lightly tuck the pieces that have gone
rogue!

Once you’ve chosen what kind of club you’re going to, you need to tailor
your outfit towards the club’s music and aesthetic: if it is a salsa
club you are probably not going to choose leather, biker jacket and
black denim. You can also check if the club has a particular dress code.
For a night at the club wear body tight styles and miniskirts or
dresses, but make sure that you still look stylish: sequins, fringes,
ruffles, metallic, or neon colors, bold accessories and staple shoes are
all perfect for the club.
How to Contour and Highlight
Source
1.+ 2. Apply one layer of foundation or tinted moisturizer all over
face. I used Tarte’s BB Cream in “Medium Light”. Using a foundation
brush and a cream concealer (2 to 3 times lighter than your skin tone),
apply concealer (the highlight) to the under eyes, down the sides of the
nose, and brushed back and upward toward the hairline.
3. Using the same concealer, highlight the center of the forehead and
down the bridge of the nose, upper lip, center of the chin and on your
brow bone. Lastly, apply the concealer to the jawline, just under your
cheekbones.
4. Once you’ve finished with all the highlighting, it’s time to apply
the contour. Pick a cool-toned cream concealer or foundation thats 2 to
3 shades darker than your skin tone. Taking a smaller, stiff brush or
foundation brush, apply the contour cream to the hallows of your cheeks,
just below your cheekbone, all the way to your hairline.
5.+ 6. +7. Apply the same color to your forehead near your hairline,
temples, jawline, the sides of your neck and to the sides of your nose.
8. Using a wet Beauty Blender or Duo Fiber Blending Brush, blend all
the contour and highlighter together until there is no more distinction
between the two colors.
9. Lastly, Apply a light dusting of blush, and set all the highlight
with a loose powder using a small natural bristled brush. I used Tarte’s
12 Hour Amazonian Clay Blush in “Tipsy” and Make Up For Ever’s Super
Matte Loose Powder in “Translucent Natural”.
Romantic Side Braid Hair Style
Source
1) Create a deep side part and pull all hair to the opposite side.
2) Begin a regular French braid at the top, near the part.
3) Continue creating the French braid along the side/hairline moving towards the ear.
4+5) Add hair from the opposite side by taking horizontal sections
and bringing them around to the front where the braid is located.
6) Continue taking even sections to add to both sides of the braid, making sure the braid remains located along the hairline.
7) Once you have placed all the loose hair into the braid, continue braiding the tail and secure with a clear rubber band.
8) Spray with finishing spray.
9) Loosen braid to desired size.
